Roadie is an Atlanta-based crowdsourced, same-day delivery service. Considered the nation's first 'on-the-way' delivery service, Roadie's model utilizes unused capacity in passenger vehicles already on the road to make regional and last-mile deliveries. The company has over 120,000 drivers and has made deliveries to more than 11,000 cities and towns nationwide, for the largest local same-day footprint in the nation. Roadie was founded in 2014 by Marc Gorlin, who currently serves as the CEO.

About the oppurtunity

Roadie is what’s considered an ‘on-the-way’ platform. It’s designed as a platform to match people who need items delivered, with drivers who are already headed in the same direction. Customers post deliveries and a price for each one. As a driver, you decide which deliveries you would like to take on. You’re completely free to make your own hours and schedule. Roadie states that most local jobs pay between $8 and $50. Roadie also supports long distance jobs with oversized items in which couriers can earn up to $650 upon completion.
